In Springfield Public Schools (SPS), nutrition services staff at Ridgeview Elementary and Walterville Elementary served delicious multi-colored carrots and apples to all students during lunch, as part of Oregon's Crunch at Once event, celebrated on Thursday, October 23.

The Springfield Public Schools Board of Directors has selected Dr. Shawn Stover to serve as interim superintendent for the 2026-27 school year, pending approval of his contract at the board's June 22 meeting.

Springfield Public Schools (SPS) has selected three finalists to participate in the final phase of the District's interim superintendent search process. The finalists will participate in a series of interviews with multiple stakeholder groups and the board on June 9.
