About Walterville Elementary

Walterville Elementary School is one of 12 elementary schools within the Springfield Public Schools district.

​Walterville Elementary School is a rural school located in the close-knit communities of Walterville and Camp Creek. We prioritize relationships, quality instruction and dedicated support for students, staff and the community. 

At Walterville Elementary, connecting with students on an individual basis is the core of everything we do. School Hours

Regular School Hours (All K-5 Students)
School begins each day at 8:35 a.m. (doors open at 8 a.m. for breakfast) and dismissal is at 2:50 p.m.

Early Release School Hours (All K-5 Students)
School begins each day at 8:35 a.m. (doors open at 8 a.m. for breakfast) and dismissal is at 12:30 p.m.

Office Hours

• On school days, the office opens at 8 a.m. and closes at 4 p.m.
• On days that students are not in school but the staff are present the office is open from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
• On other days, the office is closed, except by appointment.
